The Mace depicted here goes directly
to Gothic roots by the necessarily inverted ogive shaped arcs of
its lobes. This Mace is long enough - 48 inches - to be carried on the shoulder and while the pole section should be around 2 inches diameter, steel does not require heat treatment. Each of the eight blades should be about 1/8 inch at insertion and should be almost touching each other. More
specifications will be presented in terms of steel finish. Either nickel
silver bath, fully polished and sealed, or antiqued. |
