THE ABSOLUTE - THE SWORDS OF LIGHT AND OF DARKNESS

Was written long before the time men rose to their feet. It was the language of the Universe, that was left to de discovered. It encompassed the sense of the Absolute, of the  Divinity, the Pulse of the Universe.

T
his Absoluteness contained the perishable and the imperishable, Time and its Absence, for Time is just an earthly measure.
Light
and darkness, the notion of good and that of evil, of positive and negative energies. It was a legacy to men to understand and find the way that lead them to understand what Harmony has always been, unchanged.

A
t that time, two sacred smiths existed - a man and a woman, living one above the Equator and another below it - to whom were given the secrets of the earth, of the metals within, and those of the elements.
T
hey were initiated into the rites and alchemic processes of transforming iron into steel.
A
ll this was done before the waters rose and submerged the Earth and with it, two swords were forged that were then lost.
These swords were the ancestors of all weapons, and embodied all the principles.

W
hen the waters rose, the male smith was able to carve a hole in a tree trunk and inserted the sword wrapped in layers of foliage and covered the hole with more wood in hope that it would fluctuate, and so be saved.

T
he female smith, living in a desert, excavated a hole in the ground, covered the hole with rocks, placed the sword inside and covered it with as many stones and rocks as she could.

Then
the waters came, covered the entire land, and a big silence reigned.

A long time passed. It was never known nor told how long the earth was submerged. Then the waters began to subside.

Man
begun again his journey towards the dawn of knowledge.
The
Earth was reborn and strange caves appeared in some shores.

E
verything was new as no one of the descendants of the few survivors could know what was before. There were no records and oral tradition was confusing.

H
owever, the North was still where it always has been, as well as the South, and East and West.

Fire
was kept through the Deluge, as well as some very ancient scattered knowledge.

Time
passed, or perhaps Man passed through Time, and from earlier tribes, more evolved social organization forms emerged and the Eastern Lands kingdoms were born and empires rose while the concepts that provided over the origins of the Universe, the rules of harmony were by then known to mankind. However, few abided by them.

THE FINDINGS
I
n the Koto Period, a farmer living in the Island known as Kyushu, begun to dig a well.
A
s he dug, he found it very strange that after some 4 feet deep, the color of the earth changed into a dark coal like color. He shrugged his shoulders and continued to dig until he hit a level of stone.
