SAN MAI TANTO RENDITION

As you scroll down, you will view the earlier stages at the bottom, until communication has been fully adjusted to what I had in mind. A very interesting way of working together.

I consider the rendering finished for this first sword project. The samé is perfectly rendered as well as all surfaces and now you leave me with the embarassment of choosing between the two tsubas. That is a good embarrasment though.

Excellent. Only thing missing is correcting the tsuba bevel. 3/5 should be main edge and 1/5 should be each side's bevel. This will allow for a comparison to this also nice tsuba.  I can see the black seppa there. Great.

The tsuba is too large. It should be almost an aikuchi. It cannot be totally, because the tanto's blade is too long for an aikuchi at almost 12 inches. So the tsuba should follow the saya shape as well as being 3mm away from the black seppa. Also note that there are some disturbances in the silver parts such as the kurikata and the tsuna-kuchi. And I can also see some unwanted reflections in the tsuba. Got to get rid of them.
